Pues me temo que no voy a ser de mucha ayuda, y eso que en la carrera estudie electronica y componentes electrónicos, pero tanto odio le cojí que conseguí olvidarlo todo tan rapidamente como lo aprendí (y ahora me arrepiento) lo que si os puedo decir es que un cable USB normal y corriente tiene 4 cables, y si no me equivo con solo dos de ellos es suficiente para hacer el apaño (pues son los que llevan la corriente) en cuanto a los voltajes y amperajes (por que no es solo cuestión de adaptar la diferencia de potencial) seguramente con unas resistencias y alguna cosilla más la cosa se apaña. De hecho si miras en la zona del taller verás que hay un cacharro alimentado con pilas, y eso es tambíen relativamente facil pues solo tienes que sumar la potencia de unas pilas normales que son de 1,5V una vez que tienes claro donde estan los polos de la batería del ecig.

Esto avanza, lo del regulador de voltaje creoque tengo yo uno de un ventilador de pc, habria que pomerlo entre el usb y la bateria no? Con el voltaje que lleva la bateria y el usb imagino ayudado con el regulador de voltaje, alguien sabe si se puede desmontar una bateria sin joderla y luego volverla a montar?,lo digo x probar, pone k voltaje lleva la bateria cuando desmontas esta?, saludos

yo ya he ofrecido mi bateria USB a cualquier manitas que se ofrezca a diseccionarla
y lo del voltaje,, bueno, se trata de una resistencia,, por meterle un poquito mas o menos de electricidad no pasara nada seguramente,, ( ojo, un poquito)

Creo que hay que olvidarse de la batería, donde queremos dar corriente es en el atomizador, para sustituir la batería, por un usb o un transformador de corriente, hay que centrarse en el atomizador o resistencia como ha dicho Xavier.
Ingredientes: Atomizador medio jodido y transformador de corriente o usb

Creo que la clave esta aqui lo encontre en un foro a ver si podeis traducir soy malo en ingles:

If you have a USB cable this is the simplest and cheapest mod to date.

What you need:
1 small screw and washer
1 dowel rod just a bit shorter than an aaa battery
1 metal thumb tack
drill bit smaller than the screw
Super glue and knife

First prepare your cable, strip the shielding, cut all wires but the red and black. Drill a hole in one end of the dowel in the center to accept the screw. Now remove the plastic bit from the brass end cap, there are notches in the plastic to pry it off. Using the same drill bit drill through the bottom of the brass cap, then in the center of the plastic. Using the knife carve a channel for 1 wire along the side of the dowel. Shimmy the plastic cap up the cable. Place the screw and washer in the brass cap, so you just start into the dowel, then wrap the positive wire (red) around the screw and tighten. Now seat the negative (black) wire down the carved channel, and glue it there. Start pushing the thumb tack in the center of the other end of the dowel. Wrap the end of the wire around the pin end and push all the way down. Screw it in the cigar and vape your eyes out.

I did a video demonstrating the USB mod for the DSE 901B. It's pretty basic, but if anyone wants to give this a shot it honestly works. I'll post up a basic diagram of how it is hooked up to give people something to go on when doing this mod. The only challenging part is gutting the existing battery but all in all it took me a few short hours to do from start to finish, and really works well. I forgot to mention in the video, but with wall USB adapters and cigarette lighter to USB adapters (10-15bucks for a combo set) you can plug it into the wall, or in your car. I used mine in the car today and it worked great.

I'm running it off my PC directly, and have not had an ounce of trouble with it just like it is. If you're worried it might damage your USB port, go out and buy a $10 USB switch (or) as Trog suggested get a Y-Adapter for additional protection. This particular model runs directly from USB (Mine is +4.75v) and is only slightly higher than what the battery puts out. If you want to lower the voltage to the atomizer slightly, and you don't know how to calculate the values for the resistors needed I can add a simple set of resistors to my layout and you can add those components to yours..but honestly it isn't needed. I'll keep using this bad boy and if anything happens I'll keep you all posted. This thing is very handy.

just a quick point, you will get away with using this on a desktop pc as each USB port is capable of delivering 500mA. I would not recommend trying this with a laptop / notebook as the USB ports on Laptops / Notebooks only deliver 100Ma accross all the USB ports. In other words if you had 4 USB ports on your laptop / notebook thats 100Ma accross all 4 ports. Chances are if you plugged your device in to a USB port on a laptop / notebook you would overload it and possibly cause permanent damage.
